Famous for pioneering cutting edge cinematography in Egypt for 30 years, RAW Entertainment was founded by film director Tarek Alarian in 1989. The company's production history encompasses all of Alarian’s hit feature films including ‘Al Embrator’ (The Emperor), ‘Al Basha’ (The Pasha), both starring the late Ahmed Zaki. ‘El Selem Wel Te’ban’ (Snakes and Ladders), ‘Welad Rizk’ (Sons of Rizk) and Elkhaleya (The Cell) and 'Welad Rizk 2' (Sons or Rizk 2) which was named one of the highest grossing movies in the history of Egyptian Cinema in 2018.

The company has a role in revamping the music video scene in Egypt by producing more than 150 clips for mega celebrities like Amr Diab, Amal Maher, the late Amer Mounib, Asala Nasri and Ramy Sabry among others. The enterprise has also produced over 350 advertising campaigns for international brands like Pepsi, Coca-Cola, Samsung, Oppo, Chipsy.

It is worth mentioning that RAW Entertainment has completely transformed the entertainment scene in Egypt with its introduction of digital technology that was formerly locally unprecedented.
